PIT LANE CLOTHING sponsored driver Xavier Kokai has taken his first win in the Australian Formula Ford Championships with victory in Race 3, at Round 3 of the 2023 Australian Formula Ford Championship at Symmons Plains in Tasmania.
In a storming weekend, Kokai also claimed a third place podium in Race 2 after taking pole position for Race 1 on Friday.
After the round Kokai added:
"patience and persistence pays off.
It felt great to be at the front of the field showing off our pace.
The car was quick all weekend and it’s still in one piece, so we have our chins up for Winton in a couple weeks time”
Round 4 of the championships heads to the Victorian high country circuit of Winton Motor Raceway on 9 June, 2023.
