PIT LANE CLOTHING sponsored driver Michael Clemente has given Carl Cox Motorsport and Cupra their first race win in the Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Championship, during Round 2, at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit.
A last lap pass on front-runner Jordan Cox sealed the emotional win for underdog Clemente, in a hugely a popular win.

Even more remarkable is the fact the Carl Cox Motorsport team only received the Cupra Leon car in Australia 1 week before the race.

Joined by a throng of supporters, pit lane erupted as Clemente crossed the line for his first win in the TCR Australia Series.
"It's been a long time coming.
The whole Cupra deal started a long time ago and to do it now on debut with the family here, on Mother's Day especially, it's pretty emotional.

We're a little team punching above our weight and we've had a lot of bad luck, finally I think it's turning around and we're ready for it."
Clemente was one of the first drivers signed by PIT LANE CLOTHING and continues to represent the brand in 2023.
